Graduating from the Ospreys' academy, he solidified his position with Cardiff Rugby after a loan deal in 2018/19, culminating in a permanent move the following summer. Recently celebrating his 50th club appearance against Dragons in October 2021, Thornton brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Cardiff squad.
