Maxwell Genomic: Welsh Coastal Path Charity Walk
posted 1st March 2024
The Cause
The event sees people from all over Wales stand united, not just as individuals but as a formidable force against cancer. Participants will take on the Wales Coast Path in a 26-day challenge from 14th February - 10th March 2024.
Twenty-six days has been chosen to mirror the QuicDNA project's goal of reducing diagnosis time. The 780 miles that will be walked will represent the 78 days it took Craig to receive his diagnosis from the point of finding his tumour, the rest will be cycled.
A match ball will be carried the entire distance of the challenge, symbolising our collective fight against cancer, and it will culminate at the national stadium of Wales, the Principality Stadium on March 10th for the Wales vs. France Guinness Six Nations match, where Craig, accompanied by his children, Isla and Zach, will carry the match ball onto the pitch.
Showing Our Support
At Popin Graphics, we're showing our support for the cause by providing the liveries for the transport and support vehicles supplied for the event by Enterprise Vans Cardiff. With 3 Transit Customs and the MS-Group Transporter branded up, be sure to give the guys a wave and give support if you see them on their journey!
MS-Group Ltd's own Rod Hill will be joining the event for a number of legs across the journey and will battle the elements that the Irish Sea loves to bring in the early months of the year!
Craig will also be joined by Welsh athletes such as Sam Warburton, Jamie Roberts, Gethin Jones, and Jamie Baulch to name a few.
Please show your support by giving as little or as much as you can by following the link below with the goal of beating this horrible disease.
