Popin Win at Sign Industry Awards 2025!

Popin attended the Sign Industry Awards 2025 with our partners at Spandex UK. The Sign Industry Awards, presented by Sign Update and Sign & Digital UK, celebrate excellence in the visual communications sector by honouring past achievements, present innovations, and future advancements. These awards recognise outstanding suppliers, sign makers, and individual traders in sign making, digital printing, and visual communications. With over 35 years of industry service, SDUK and Sign Update ensure that everyone in the industry has a voice, highlighting and rewarding the best in the field.
Popin came away from the show with the Best Vehicle Graphics Award for our work on the '75 Years of Motorsport' project with Porsche Centre Cardiff (now Porsche Centre Newport). A technically challenging project, Popin worked in collaboration with our sister signage partner, Morgans Consult who provided the signage that accompanied our vehicle wrap.
Challenges overcame during this project included maintaining the alignment of the pattern across a 3D canvas and whilst still matching up to the elements installed by Morgan’s Consult. Our 3M printed wrap solution provided a superior finish on the final product and stands as a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of our team.
Additional elements to this project delivered by the Morgan’s Consult team included full coverage, digitally printed signage on semi-transparent Contravision covering the entirety of their used car show room window. There were also additional elements around the entrance to the main building detailing the event.
Porsche celebrated its 75 Years of Motorsport legacy with the spectacular event that honoured its rich racing heritage and groundbreaking achievements. Further to the local events held at the Porsche dealerships, the celebration featured an array of historic and modern race cars, showcasing the brand’s evolution from the legendary Porsche 356 to the cutting-edge 963 hybrid prototype.
Held at iconic venues and attended by racing legends, engineers, and passionate fans, the event highlighted Porsche’s relentless pursuit of innovation and performance. Special exhibitions, track demonstrations, and panel discussions offered a deep dive into the brand’s impact on motorsport history. The 75-year milestone reinforced Porsche’s commitment to competition, proving that its racing DNA continues to drive the future of high-performance automotive engineering.
