The Rescue Hotel Charity Wrap

Over the years the Popin team have raised money for a range of different charities, both as individual members and as a team. Previous contributions to charity include the Welsh Coastal Path Charity Walk, The North to South Cycle and our Managing Director Craig's Everest Trek.
August 2024 sees Popin take on a new project, installing a livery for non-profit organisation: The Rescue Hotel, that is sure to get tails wagging.
The Cause
The Rescue Hotel is a charity running out of Cardiff Dogs Home providing veterinary treatment for re-homed dogs who need it most. The charity started in 2019 after a group of volunteers held a fundraising event for a dog called Bruno; who had resided at Cardiff Dogs Home for many months prior. Bruno needed a vital surgery on both of his ears. However, Cardiff Dogs Home is council run, meaning it was not possible to pay for the costly operation with taxpayer money. It was also difficult to rehome Bruno as whoever adopted him would have to pay thousands for the surgery. Not wanting to see the dog suffer, the staff and volunteers of Cardiff Dogs Home set up a fundraiser to help the wonderful Bruno, and from there The Rescue Hotel was born.
Since then, the rescue hotel has helped to rehome many dogs, even introducing them to some famous friends along the way! Such as Lewis Capaldi, Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C and Idles. In 2021 they even commissioned their own on-site veterinary health centre, providing treatment to the residents of Cardiff Dogs Home.
The Wrap
Designed by members of The Rescue Hotel's team, Popin brought this stunning livery to life on a Ford Transit Custom. Fully wrapped in digitally printed 3M IJ280mc, this vibrant van wrap playfully utilises imagery of existing dogs from The Rescue Hotel; along the sides, and on the back window of the van.
Pantone matching the branding colours made achieving the perfect finish on the livery a dream and ensured that the wrap stay truly on brand with the ready of the charities media.
We hope that this eye-catching new wrap will shine at any upcoming events, helping to raise awareness of this wonderful charity and enabling them to continue the great work that they do.
